F1 with GOSH

Great Ormond Street Children’s Charity is the corporate charity of TRG for the second year running and this year I was lucky enough to become a fundraising ambassador for the charity. Last year, I was heavily involved in raising money for GOSH during which time I climbed Kilimanjaro and helped raised over £50,000.

I haven’t been able to do a lot of fundraising so far as I’m also involved in The Prince’s Trust Million Makers scheme (I’ll blog about this once everything’s been set up) but I have been invited to take part in the fundraising at this year’s F1 British Grand Prix. I jumped at the chance given I’m such a huge fan of F1 and went to a drinks reception last night to find out more.

Each volunteer will have a daily target of £300 to raise via bucket collection at Silverstone across the weekend. I’m really looking forward to this challenge and hopefully I can beat this target. I know a few people who will be attending so you’d all better have spare cash on you!
