Saluting the RAF Museum

Back in June, the RAF Museum launched a competition to design a poster. I decided to enter. I wanted to showcase the history of the RAF alongside its cutting edge technology so I produced three separate designs to show how they could be used as a series.

A picture paints a thousand words

I’ve recently finished my latest commission for a painting. I love being creative so it’s always a pleasure to do some artwork for others. The thought of someone having something I created hanging on their wall is very flattering so here’s some examples of my work. All done in acrylic on canvas.

A birthday message

Today is Colin Jones’ 64th birthday. As a fan of The Beatles, I thought it was very fitting for me to make him this video. Happy birthday, dad. Love you x

Ticket design

I designed this earlier to put inside my dad’s Father’s Day card. It’s based on a design I did a while back for a heading banner on another blog so I just had to replace the text. It’s very effective and I love the fonts in it. I used Summertime for the main text and

Over the last 6 months, I’ve been busy setting up a new website as a hobby. It’s an ecommerce website selling T-shirts from film and television. I’m taking my design skills and trying to incorporate them with retail knowledge from my full-time job. I don’t expect to retire any time soon but it’s been fun

Busy, busy, busy

I’m currently working on a few projects and I’m really excited about them all because they’re so different. I’ve been asked to design the cover of a book based on football. I just saw a link to this page and loved the posters… Check them out! Sharpsuits.net Ireland’s creative community got together to release a lot of pent up anger and sadness through the medium of the A3 poster, all in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Ad creatives, designers, animators, directors, illustrators and more took
